How would you celebrate Canada 150?
We invited Canadian HGTV stars - Scott McGillivray, Byran and Sarah Baeumler, Sarah Richardson, Mike Holmes, and Mike Holmes Jr.- to talk about their perfect day to spend as Canadians.
Interview clips are structured in two parts – the opening which is filled with b-rolls of casts getting ready to connect with the viewers on a personal level, and the actual interview where the words are illustrated and animated in the back to reinforce the Canadian aspects visually.
All the key set-up stations were planned before the shoot to make sure there were variations of footage to edit from for post-production.
After the shoot, illustration and type animation styles were explored on the actual footage to make sure styles blended in well without outpowering the cast while being engaging enough.
